Benefits of Umbrella Scheme Scholarship
- The Gujarat government provides assistance to students through the Umbrella Scheme Scholarship in various forms like registration/enrollment, education, sports, union, library, monthly, medical exams, and also rewards fees to universities/boards or institutes for their fees.
- Students receive scholarships up to Rs. 1,600 per year for study tours.
- Students studying in certain areas are eligible for scholarships up to Rs. 1,600 for thesis typing and printing for completing research scholars.
- Students living in hostels receive a scholarship of 1,200/- and 550/- per month. Along with that, they also get an annual allowance of Rs. 1,200/- for educational materials and books.

Eligibility Criteria for Umbrella Scheme Gujarat
The scholarship eligibility criteria can change, but if you qualify, you can receive benefits under the Umbrella Scheme. Only students from Gujarat can avail of this scholarship, whether they study in the state or outside.
- To benefit from this scholarship, the student must belong to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category
- Your father’s annual income should not exceed 2,50,000 rupees, and this amount should come from all of your father’s sources of money.
- Students who have completed their 10th grade and are currently studying in the 11th grade or in a post-secondary program can apply for this scholarship.
- A student cannot receive the scholarship repeatedly within the same class. For example, if a student received the scholarship in the 11th grade and reapplies for it in the following year, their application will not be accepted.

- For this scholarship, you can apply online. Go to the official website of Gujarat government (www.digitalgujarat.gov.in) to apply for this scholarship.
- If you already have a user ID and password, then log in. Otherwise, click on the new registration button to register anew.
- Now, if the candidates have received a new user ID and password, they should log in to the Digital Gujarat Scholarship Portal with the help of it.
- Choose the scholarship you want to apply for and start filling out the application.
- Fill in the application form correctly and upload all necessary documents. If any information is incorrect, the application gets canceled.
- After completing the information, review the application again and submit it.
