The Jindal Scholarship doesn’t fit into just one category; it changes across different departments. That’s why this scholarship falls into different categories. Because it varies, the eligibility criteria and benefits for it are also different. Here are some examples
Category A:
- Students must have passed the 11th or 12th grade from a recognized university or government college.
- Those eligible for this scholarship must score at least 65% for boys and 60% for girls in the 11th and 12th grades.
- For students studying in West Bengal, they need to score a minimum of 75% for boys and 75% for girls.
Category B:
- Boys and girls who are studying in the ITI field can also apply for this scholarship.
- Students who are eligible for this scholarship must have passed the previous exams with at least 50% marks for boys and 45% marks for girls
Category C:
- The students who have passed the 12th grade exams can now apply for higher education scholarships in fields like BA, BCom, BBA, BSc, and BHM.
- For those eligible, boys need at least 65% and girls need at least 60% in their previous exams to qualify.
- For students from Karnataka and West Bengal studying boys need at least 70% need and at least 65% girls to qualify.
Category D:
- The Sitaram Jindal Scholarship is available for students in those pursuing post-graduation courses like MA, MSc, MPhil, M.Com, MBA, and MSC.
- Students must have at least 65% for boys and 60% for girls in their previous academic qualifications to be eligible for the scholarship.
- For students from Karnataka and West Bengal who are pursuing education in these states, they must have at least 75% for boys and 70% for girls in their previous academic qualifications to be eligible for the scholarship.
Category E:
- Students studying in engineering, medical, and other diploma programs can also apply for this scholarship.
- To be eligible for this scholarship, students must have scored 60% marks in the previous year’s exam for boys and 55% marks for girls..
Category F:
- Students who wish to pursue education in engineering and medical fields can also apply for this scholarship.
- In the previous annual exams, boys need to score at least 70% and girls need to score at least 65% to be eligible.
- Students who are studying engineering and medicine in West Bengal and Karnataka must score a minimum of 75% for boys and 70% for girls in their final exams.
