Benefits of Pre Matric Scholarship for ST Student
This scholarship for students belonging to Scheduled Castes provides assistance in various forms. It helps them with books, educational materials, school fees, tuition, etc. This scholarship is given to students for 10 months. The scholarship is primarily divided into 2 categories when given in monetary form: Day scholars and Hostellers. The amount received by each category is different. - With the help of this scholarship, Day scholars receive 150 per month and Hostellers receive 350 per month. This scholarship is given for 10 months in a year.
- Books and ad Hoc grant : Day scholars receive 750 per month and Hostellers receive 1000per month.

Eligibility Criteria for Pre Matric Scholarship for ST Student in Gujarat
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must follow the conditions below. Only then will you be eligible for this scholarship. Otherwise, you will not receive the benefit of this scholarship. Students should take note of this.
- To apply for this scholarship, the student must belong to a Scheduled Tribe.
- The applicant’s parents’ annual income should be less than 2 lakh rupees. This amount includes all sources of income that the parents receive.
- After applying for this scholarship, the student will not be eligible for any other scholarship and will not receive any other scholarship.
- Any student muct study in government-recognized schools or in institutions affiliated with the Central/State Board of Secondary Education.
- A student can only receive the benefit of this scholarship once within the same class. If a student applies again within the same class, their application will be rejected, and they will not receive the scholarship.
