This scholarship is a support for students studying in 9th and 10th grades. This scholarship is specifically designed for students belonging to the SC (Scheduled Caste) category. Therefore, only students from the SC category can apply for this scholarship. The student should not have applied for any other scholarship apart from this one. Benefits of Pre Matric Scholarship for SC Student

This scholarship for students belonging to Scheduled Castes provides assistance in various forms. It helps them with books, educational materials, school fees, tuition, etc. This scholarship is given to students for 10 months. The scholarship is primarily divided into 2 categories when given in monetary form: Day scholars and Hostellers. The amount received by each category is different. • With the help of this scholarship, Day scholars receive 225 per month and Hostellers receive 525 per month. This scholarship is given for 10 months in a year.
• Books and ad Hoc grant : Day scholars receive 750 per month and Hostellers receive 1000per month.

Eligibility Criteria for Pre Matric Scholarship for SC Student in Gujarat
