Through this scholarship, the Gujarat government has ensured that all deserving OBC students in Gujarat receive higher education. Thousands of students will receive financial assistance through this education, which will ease the burden on their parents, create a new educated generation, and help them pursue higher education. This is the goal of the Gujarat government.

This is a program for students belonging to the OBC category who are pursuing education from pre-degree level to postgraduate level. All eligible students from the OBC category can apply for this scholarship

Post Matric Scholarship for OBC Eligibility Criteria
- The student should be a resident of Gujarat. They must have passed their matriculation from a recognized university.
- The beneficiary must belong to the OBC category, otherwise they won’t be eligible for this scholarship.
- The student’s education should be from undergraduate to postgraduate level.
- The annual income of the applicant’s family should be less than 1 lakh rupees.
- This scheme doesn’t benefit just one student from a family. All children of the family can apply for this scholarship.
- If a student is eligible for two scholarships, they should choose the scholarship that benefits them the most. If a student receives benefits from two scholarships at the same time, they won’t receive any other kind of scholarship.
Form Fill up process
Step 01: First, you need to go to the official website of the Digital Gujarat portal.
Step 02: If you have your ID and password, log in, otherwise click on ‘new registration’.
Step 03: Fill in your name, mobile number, email correctly, and create a password. Then click on the ‘Save’ button.
Step 04: After successful registration, log in to the portal using the email ID and password you provided.
Step 05: If you are a new applicant, click on ‘My Profile’.
Step 06: When filling out your profile, an OTP will be sent to the email ID and mobile number you provided. By entering that OTP, your profile will be successfully completed.
Step 07: Then choose ‘Scholarship Services’ and click on ‘OBC Scheme’.
Step 08: Now, select ‘Change Financial Year’ and click on ‘Continue to Service’.
Step 09: After selecting the appropriate scheme, read all the information given below carefully and click on the ‘Continue to Service’ button.
Step 10: Fill in the application form with correct and accurate information. (Once you submit the application, you cannot make changes again.)
Step 11: Upload all the required documents in the application. (If you provide incorrect information or any false documents, your application get rejected.)
Step 12: After filling in all the information, review once again and then click on ‘Save as Draft’. Accept all the given terms & conditions and click on ‘Confirm & Final Submit’ button. Your application will be successfully completed.
Important Instructions
Note 01: Please upload a clear photo of the applicant.
Note 02: The application will be accepted only after completing all steps in the form.
Note 03: Only one application per student will be accepted. If an applicant submits more than one application, all of their applications will be rejected, and they will not be eligible for any scholarships.
Note 04: If a student provides any false information in the application, the application will be rejected.
Note 05: When applying, it is necessary to upload all original documents.
Note 06: While filling out the form, no mistakes should be made because once the form is submitted, it cannot be corrected.
Note 07: The application process is online. Students from outside the state must submit their application to the original district authority.
